Kei vehicles are a special class of Japanese vehicle that are simple, fun to work on and drive whilst being tiny and extremely environmentally friendly. Since hitting 25 years old they are federally legal to import and drive on American roads. Car enthusiasts and commonfolk alike love the cute looks, great driving characteristics and extreme environmental friendliness of these vehicles. Unfortunately some states have been discriminating against these little Japanese wonders trying to ban them with no legal justification.
